 Rose Court Hydro, Southport

This eight suite member’s only spa hotel is emblematic of the dragonfly in its design. The wing structure of the dragonfly has influenced the sensuous curves of the roof shape over the swimming pool and aerobics areas. The tranquillity of a spa is continued into the highly organised serene garden based on Japanese design principles. Inside the building, the eight luxurious suites and the hotel rooms benefit from heating provided by ground source heat pumps.

This  scheme uses high quality copper,

glass,  steel  and  stone  in its construction

and  will produce a totally contemporary

building  which  is virtually hidden in the

landscape  and by so doing enables the

original  merchant’s house  to  retain its

       visual dominance and integrity.
